A round sponge photo cake topped with a round picture and your personalised wording curved around the photograph in your choice of font and text colour. Includes a coordinating organza ribbon and an optional personalised gift card.

Our cakes are of the highest quality and taste as good as they look! The light sponge is superb with a moist, soft texture that melts in your mouth.

Our 8 inch and 10 inch round cakes are available in two flavours - classic sponge with raspberry jam & buttercream filling, or chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream. Our round cakes measure 8 inches in diameter (20 cm) and serve 15 to 20 portions. Of course the number of slices depends on how you cut the cake! Traditional wedges would give you up to 16 slices, or cut into rectangles for a few extra portions.

Our 10 inch round cakes measure 10 inches in diameter and serve 24 to 34 portions. Of course the number of slices depends on how you cut the cake! Traditional wedges would give you up to 24 slices, or cut into rectangles for a few extra portions.

We use only the best quality ingredients including free range eggs. Because the sponge is completely enclosed in the icing they keep very well. We guarantee they will stay fresh for a minimum of 5 days, but usually they last even longer.They are round in shape, covered in white sugarpaste icing and sit on a thick cake board with piped royal icing shells around the base. Our cakes are made and iced by hand. Whilst we try to make each one as round and as flat as possible, there may be slight variations.

If you are sending this as a gift you can include a personalised gift card after you add it to the basket. You will be asked for the delivery address when you check out.

You can have up to four separate pictures on this item. Let us know if you would like them laid out in a particular order, or we will arrange them as we think best

You can upload your photo or logo when you add this item to the basket, or leave it until after your order is completed. In the basket you can upload any image file including JPG, BMP, GIF or PDF. If you want to send any other type of file, or if you want to send it later then please complete your order and make payment. On the order confirmation screen you will see a link to an upload page where you can then upload, email or post any kind of picture.

Here are a few pointers:

The better the quality of your original picture is, the better the finished result will be. The actual size of your picture is not important, we will enlarge or reduce it to fit.
If you send a very small picture then some quality may be lost if it needs to be enlarged. As a general rule, if it prints well on paper then it will print well on icing.
If you are scanning a photo, usually a resolution of 150dpi works best.
Black & White photos work just as well as colour.

Delivery

Orders received by 1 pm Monday to Thursday can be delivered the next working day.

Order by 11am on Friday for delivery on Saturday.

Delivery costs depend on the item, quantity and service. When you add this item to the basket you can see all the options and charges and choose your delivery date.

You can enter a different delivery address if you are sending an item as a gift, or if you would like it delivered to your workplace.

If nobody is available to accept delivery then the driver might try a neighbour. Otherwise, a card will be left with details of how to arrange redelivery or collection.

You can ask for your order to be left with a neighbour, or tell us about a safe place it can be left.

ROUND SPONGE CAKES

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Do not refrigerate.

Classic Sponge Cake:

A Golden Sponge Cake filled with Vanilla Buttercream and Raspberry Jam, covered in a layer of Sugar Paste and finished with Hand Piped Royal Icing

Ingredients: Sugar, water, fortified wheat flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), rapeseed oil, maize and wheat glucose syrup, dried free range egg, butter (milk), wheat glucose-fructose syrup, humectant: vegetable glycerine; raspberry purée, apricots, emulsifiers: lactic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, polyglycerol esters of fatty acids, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate; palm oil, raising agents: diphosphates, potassium carbonate, sodium carbonates; stabiliser: tragacanth; salt, milk whey powder, maize dextrose, rice starch, preservative: potassium sorbate; flavourings, gelling agent: pectin; acidity regulators: citric acid, sodium citrates; colour: anthocyanins; dried free range egg albumen.

A Chocolate Sponge Cake filled with Chocolate Buttercream, covered in a layer of Sugar Paste and finished with Hand Piped Royal Icing
