SQUARE FRUIT CAKES

INGREDIENTS, STORAGE AND ALLERGY INFORMATION

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Do not refrigerate. 

Cakes ordered between October and Christmas have a best before date of 31st January the following year. At other times of year our fruit cakes have a shelf life of at least 30 days. 

Rich Fruit Cake: 

A traditional, rich fruit cake, covered with marzipan and a layer of Sugar Paste, finished with Hand Piped Royal Icing

Ingredients: Sugar, almonds, sultanas, raisins, butter (milk), pateurised free range egg, invert sugar syrup, muscavado sugar, currants, fortified wheat flour (wheat flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin), brandy, glucose syrup, cherries, glucose-fructose syrup, palm oil, humectant: vegetable glycerine; stem ginger, molasses, emulsifier: mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids; stabiliser: tragacanth; preservative: potassium sorbate; lemon zest, oranges, sherry, salt, raising agents: disphosphates, sodium carbonates; orange zest, cinnamon, flavouring, mixed spice, citric acid, gelling agent: pectin; colour: plain caramel, anthocyanins; acidity regulator: socium citrate.
